Craving for Changes

15.5.10

Not many people can be satisfied with what all they have. We all need a little changes at least. We want to move. Moving from this point to a better point (we thought).
We thought, it would be better, if a single lady have a partner. Then from the simple partnership, they move to one stable relationship, marriage. Then they're having a child, then children. Then they feel that they need to move to a house of their own. Then they need a bigger house. They also need a vehicle, at least motorcycle, then they need automobile. Then they have to send the kids to the school, then universities. They also need to pay for many holidays. Then their children are growing older, then mom and dad should paying for their wedding party. Ohhh.. how can we stop for just a moment? There might be 'a standard of living' or others called 'normal life'. But the fact is life not always same or equal for all of us. And most of us busy craving for changes, in order to be 'normal'. By the way, what is normal? Born - school - university - get job - get married - having children - growing older - having grandchild - pension - and die? That's normal?
There are my friends who passed away when they're still teenager. My idol died because of illness, while he hasn't had a son/daughter yet. One of my grandmother died, and she didn't have husband and kids. Normal not always means having all we want or through the same way like others.
This life treats us in so many different ways! And God has particular faith for everyone of us. And we don't need exactly the same thing at the same time, like other people.
So why can't we just relax? Take a deep breath.. inhale.. exhale.. We're living for today and it's good to prepare for the future whether it might be the same or different from others. Hope and pray for the best, and have some faith. There'll be time for everything for everyone. And what's making others happy not always make us happy too. Don't let our fear for the future kill us today.
Everybody wants to move, but there are always some points where we just have to stay for a while.. for days..weeks..months..and maybe years..

"Craving For Changes"

Same here Dear..i'm craving for them too actually..ehehe.. :-) But if i do nothing but complaining when everything seems move so slow..it'll just make them worse, right?

After a lot of my time had just wasted.. :-p then i realize that sending God some prayers and doing all the best for (at least) my own life..might help me killing the time.

I admit that i still complaining sometimes.. (most of the time, maybe :-p) But i always believe that everything will take its place in God's very own time.

Thank you for this post Ivy. Somehow..i feel this blog reminds me a lot..to stop complaining..just do all the best..and let God do the rest.. :-)

Peace & Love,

Acy

You are very welcome cy.. In our life, there's something called relativity of time.. Sometimes we feel that everything goes so slow, but when we look back, let's take 5 years ago for example, how we change a lot! Just don't loose faith on God. Keep trying and praying cy. And always let God give us the best. Open our heart to see God's gifts..
